present:Start with a pencil sketch. Do not push too hard in the early stages. For each step, start with light coloring so that you can easily erase it if you make a mistake.

step 1:Draw a small circle near the top of the paper as a guide for the top of the manga boy's head. To draw a circle, first make four marks to determine the height and width. Then connect the marks using curves. If you have trouble drawing a circle, simply trace the outer edge of a round object like a coin or a button.
Below the circle, draw a diagonal line as a guide for the bottom of the manga boy's head. Note the length of the guide relative to the circle. This is going to be a beard and beard tutorial.

Step 1b:The boy is about six heads tall. This means that no matter how high you draw the head, its corresponding body should be about six heads of the same size stacked on top of each other. A young boy's body will be smaller than the height of his head. In general, the body of an adult human has seven or eight heads, depending on how high you want to draw.
Drawing six heads can be tedious, so you can give a rough estimate of how many six heads there are, or make small horizontal marks all the way down to help determine the height. You can also use a ruler for more accurate measurements.

Step 2:Halfway between the top and bottom of the head, draw a long horizontal line as a construction guide to help you position the boy's features later. Draw a long vertical line across the head as another guide for construction. Below the head, draw two short vertical lines as guides for the neck. On either side of the neck, draw two short, diagonal lines for the trapezius muscles.

Step 3:Below the neck, draw a large square as a guide for the boy's upper body. Bend the lines to expand the shape a bit. The bottom edge of this shape should be roughly where the two heads point up.

Step 4:Below the previous shape, draw another square shape as a guide for the middle part of the boy's torso. Gently bend the bottom edge of this shape. The bottom edge of the guide should be approximately halfway between the second and third points of head height.

Step 5:Below the previous shape, draw a triangle as a guide for the boy's lower body. This guide should be surrounded by short vertical lines. The bottom of this guide should resemble a wide V. The bottom edge of this guide should wrap around the tall three-headed mark.

Step 6:Below the base of the torso, draw a series of long, curved vertical lines for the boy's legs. The shape of each leg should be thick at the top and thin at the bottom. These lines should end just below the quarter-height mark of the head. At the end of each leg, draw a small oval as a guide for the knee. Note the size of these ellipses in relation to the legs. Don't make them too big. The oval of the knee should be halfway between the fourth and fifth points at the height of the head.

Step 7:Below the knee, draw a few more lines as a guide for the boy's lower leg. As before, the tops of these shapes should be wider than the bottoms. Draw a small rectangle under each leg as a guide for the legs. These shapes should be narrower at the top and wider at the bottom. The lower ends of the legs should be at the lowest point of the height of the head.

Step 8:On the upper corners of the torso, draw two small circles as guides for the boy's shoulders. Note the size of these circles in relation to the torso. Don't make them too big. Below the second head height mark, on either side of the torso, draw two small circles as guides for the elbows. These circles should be smaller than the shoulder circles. Draw some diagonal lines connecting the shoulder circles to the elbow circles to form the arm guides. The outer wire should be longer than the inner wire, and the inner wire should be connected to both sides of the trunk.

Step 9:Below each elbow, draw two long curved lines as guides for the boy's forearms. Make the upper part of the forearm wider and the lower part narrowed to the wrist. The lower edge of the forearm should be at the third point of the height of the head. Draw a small diamond shape under each wrist as a guide for the hands. These shapes should have sloping sides and a pointed bottom. The hands should be placed approximately in the middle of the thighs.

This is for drivers! From this point, press firmly with the pencil to create a more defined design. Just remember to keep your overall build around six heads tall. If you used the lines as a guideline for the height of the head, you can delete them at this point.

Step 10:Darken the lines below the head to create the neck and trapezoid. Below the neck, draw short horizontal lines for the boy's collar.

Step 11:Darken the starting line in the middle to create the sides of the boy's torso. The upper part of the coffin should be wider than the lower part. Inside the shape, draw some lines to define the pectoral muscle. Add a small dot at or near the navel.

Step 12:Darken the bottom shape to complete the boy's torso. Make the lines a little more curved when you darken them.

Step 13:Use the shape on the left side of the torso as a guide to draw the boy's first arm. Simply darken the outer edges of the guides to create the shape of the hand. The shape curves inward at the waist to create elbows. The shape at the bottom of the wrist is also slim.

Step 14:Draw the shape of the boy's hand in the original diamond-shaped guide at the bottom. At the bottom, because of the way the hand is turned, only one finger should be visible. Draw the fingers as slender, curved shapes. On the right side, draw the thumb in the same way, but shorten it.

Step 15:Use the shape on the right as a guide to draw the boy's other hand in the same way. Darken the outer edges of the guides to create the shape of the hand. Thin the middle and lower parts of the elbows and wrists. At the bottom, draw your hand inside the diamond guide shape. Draw the fingers as long, thin shapes that curve to the left, and the thumb as short, thin shapes that curve down.

Step 16:Use the shape in the lower left of the torso as a guide to draw the manga boy's first leg. As with the arms, darken the outer edges of the original guides to create the leg shapes. Bend the middle part to create the knees. The upper half of the leg should be wide and thin near the knee. For the calf muscles, it should also be thick below the knee and then thinner at the bottom of the ankle.

Step 17:Draw the shape of the boy's legs inside the bottom rectangle. Darken the outer edges of the guides, but make the shape more curved. Draw a series of short lines on the bottom to separate the toes. Make the rightmost big toe shape wider. Add a small line on the inside of the nail. Now don't worry about adding too much detail to the fingers.

Step 18:Use the shape on the right as a guide to draw the other boy's leg in the same way. Darken the outer edges of the rails to create the shape of the legs. Slim the middle and lower part of the knees and ankles. At the bottom, draw the legs in the form of a rectangular rail. Use short lines to separate the bottom toes and make the far left shape thicker for the big toe.

Nineteenth step:For a cleaner look, remove as many main lines as possible. Don't worry about removing all drivers. It's okay to leave something behind. Redraw any final sketch lines that you may have accidentally removed.

last step:If you want, you can add hair to your design so your boy doesn't go bald! For detailed step-by-step instructions on how to draw bouffant hair for boys, check out this tutorial:How to Draw a Manga Boy with Shaggy Hair (Front View).
